The first BI Competence Forum was successfully launched on 9th April 2013 in Amsterdam. After more than 10 successful events in Sweden and 7 in Norway, we decided to pioneer and introduce our first Pan-European BI event driven by delegates that combines expertise, knowledge-sharing and networking.
Coming from different industries and holding different titles, delegates shared the common interest to learn about the latest trends in business intelligence and listen to the best practices of leading organisations. Our board of high-level speakers guaranteed an exciting program with thrilling case studies and hands-on guidance. We learnt about award-winning solutions that end-users developed, implemented and capitalized on in various countries and industries.
Our interactive roundtable sessions provided the opportunity to discuss some of the key agenda topics in smaller groups under the guidance of high-level experts. Delegates could choose between 4 leading topics including “Data Virtualization and BI Architecture”, “The Power of Big Data”, “From analysis to action”, “How to create a BI Culture and use BI technology to enable change”. Breaking out from the plenary session, the roundtables gave a great opportunity to learn about the challenges and solutions other companies have.
Our panel discussion composed of experienced executives from leading organisations and delved into the practical aspects of business intelligence. The gripping conversation was followed by a Fishbowl discussion that invited all delegates to share their views and have their voice heard.
